I came to the practice with a solid history of administrative experience. In South Africa, where I was born, I held the position of Personal Assistant to the founding director of a large, national waste oil recycling plant, a post I held for ten years before emigrating to the United Kingdom. In London I worked as Team Secretary at the multi-national pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline.
Subsequently, I moved into the healthcare services sector where I was responsible for administrative support for a team of social workers assisting learning-disabled and physically-disabled clients within the community.
I moved to Mona Vale in 2013 to be closer to my daughter, son and grandchildren. After initially starting at the practice as a secretary, I was offered the post of Practice Manager where I am able to utilise my broad administrative experience in support of the patients and the medical professionals of the practice.
I love my job and the team I work with. My role as the first contact for our patients is extremely important and we all strive to deliver the best care for our patients.
